Than Meets The Eye, Eye, Eye
today marks the day of my 2024 debut single release on Spotify, ‘Eye am more’.
after many years of being ashamed of being asian-australian, not having an identity that I was truly happy with, feeling suppressed and not my truest self, I felt that I needed to embrace my Asian culture to become the person I am now.
Now is my time to embrace cultures and our roots to know who we are and what we stand for.
whether our ethnicity is Vietnamese, Chinese, greek or Italian, Ethiopian or Cameroonian, we all come from the same place of humanity.
now is the time to break down stereotypes to become who we truly are, and to live together in peace and harmony.
